Mt. Baker Lodge, 1928
Mount Baker Lodge, a resort hotel at Heather Meadows opened for business in 1927. The entire lodge burned to the ground four years later. The Pearson’s were frequent visitors to Heather Meadows, so much so that E. H. Pearson was present during the time of the fire to photograph its destruction.
